Bouygues UK has signed an initial pre-construction services agreement with Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to build the 拢670m Cambridge Children's Hospital
The new hospital is set to provide 35,000 square meters of healthcare facilities over six floors, bringing together expertise from Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) and Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) with research from the University of Cambridge in a new building based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.聽Unusually, the hospital will treat both physical and mental conditions within the same building.
As main contractor, Bouygues UK will be working with a team that includes Arcadis, Terrell International and Aecom.
The building has been designed by Hawkins\Brown in partnership with White Arkitekter. The architectural vision incorporates a mix of unitised and stick cladding systems, featuring glass reinforced concrete (GRC) panels, vertical terracotta fins, and picture frame details.
91黑料网 costs have been estimated at 拢389m and overall project costs at 拢671m.
