Wokingham Borough Council has appointed Cardo to take care of repairs and maintenance for 2,795 homes in the borough.
The five-year contract, starting in June 2025, covers the council鈥檚 housing stock as well as properties owned by its housing companies, Berry Brook Homes and Loddon Homes.聽
The contract value was advertised as worth 拢13m but agreed at 拢9m.

Cardo Group was created in 2023 when social housing maintenance contractor LCB Group was sold by its founder, Liam Bevan, to private equity group Buckthorn Partners. It has since acquired Osborne Property Services, Jefferies Contractors, A&N Lewis, HeatCare Oil & Gas, Rodgers & Johnston, Breyer Roofing and SERS Energy Solutions.
