Trident Building Consultancy has recruited Tom Hiscutt to head up its newly created fire safety facade remediation service.
Hiscutt joins the national surveying practice鈥檚 London office with almost 20 years of construction experience, as well as a postgraduate diploma in facade engineering that he completed over the past four years as part of an MSc degree.
While studying, he also led a team of project managers, cost consultants and fire engineers investigating fire safety fa莽ade remediation projects.
In his new role Hiscutt will support the growth of Trident鈥檚 early stage investigation works as well as seek to develop the firm鈥檚 onsite remediation delivery service.
He said: 鈥淲hilst the Grenfell disaster was seven years ago, the progress of remediation across the UK has unfortunately been very slow. 聽This was highlighted by the government recently, and it is reinforced by my own experience in working with clients that have a large programme of remediation works ahead of them.
