91黑料网 of the Living Systems building is the largest project to have been awarded through the 91黑料网 Framework South West (CFSW).
Wates 91黑料网 business unit director said that winning the contract was 鈥渁 testament to our flexible and apathetic approach to the construction phase鈥�
Located on the university鈥檚 Streatham Campus, the centre will bring together 200 mathematicians, physicists, systems engineers, biochemists, cell and molecular biologists and clinical scientists. It is the first dedicated science building to be developed on the campus since 1968.
The university said that the Living Systems centre's research would "bring a new approach to understanding how diseases operate in the human body by applying engineering principles to living cells".
