Fibo Intercon, a Danish manufacturer of concrete batching plants, unveiled the UK鈥檚 first automated 鈥榯ouch-and-go鈥� self-service plant for small batches at Thorncliffe Building Supplies鈥� main depot near Mold, north Wales, in February 2023.
Fibo Collect UK now has 15 machines operating across the UK and Ireland and more are planned for 2025, it says.
Following the success of its initial installation in Ewloe, Thorncliffe Building Supplies聽put in a second machine at its Dyserth branch and now has a third one at its new branch in Wrexham.
According to Fibo Intercon, its Fibo Collect system has 鈥減roven to be a game-changer, particularly for small and medium-sized contractors seeking high-quality mortars and non-structural concrete mixes in small, precise batches鈥�.
The system鈥檚 appeal lies in its ability to offer a convenient, cost-effective solution for small-scale concrete, screed and mortar requirements. Fibo Collect offers measured batches starting from as little as 0.25 cubic metres, with up to 60 mix recipes available.
