Principal/Senior Hydrologist

Under the lead of an experienced Associate Director, our environmental consultancy client seek to further expand their Hydrology and Flood Risk offering out of their Manchester office. Comprehensive flood risk management services – ranging from project-specific assessments and designs for flood mitigation and SuDS through to advice on the implementation of National Policies. The team’s projects are development-based and range across retail, commercial, housing, energy, transport and public sector developments, providing a wide range of project experience across the country.

Your brief will include;
• Client lead, liaison with regulators and other external organisations.
• Technical reporting and review of colleagues reporting
• Providing technical expertise to colleagues
• Project Management; prepare and issue fee proposals
• Responsibility for meeting client deadlines and expectations
• Financial management;
• Team management
• Site walkovers and access negotiation
• Risk assessments; preparation of RAMS,

For Principal we would look for chartered status, minimum 7 years’ experience and for Senior we would seek minimum 5 years’ experience and approaching chartership. Both levels would require a driving license.
