Quantity Surveyor - Brickwork

Job Description

GP Group Ltd is looking to recruit a Bricklaying Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established award-winning masonry subcontractor who specialise in large commercial and government-funded projects.

The Role:

As a Bricklaying Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the full commercial management of projects across the South of England. You will ensure projects are delivered on budget while maintaining strong client relationships and compliance with commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting measurement of works and cost evaluations.
- Monitoring and agreeing variation accounts with clients
- Producing and monitoring material Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
- Monitoring and reporting on labour targets

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor looking for career progression. The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience working for a subcontractor in the commercial sector.
- Ideally previous experience of Brickwork
- Strong knowledge of lump sum and schedule of rates contracts.
- A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail and cost efficiency.
- Hold a valid UK Driving licence
